Watch ICCT 2021 Iceland Travel Show On Demand

Every year the Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto hosts the Iceland Travel Show. Normally an in-person event where our members and the general public are invited to gather for coffee and delicious Icelandic treats, and to hear accounts from recent travelers to Iceland of what they did and what they experienced. Our 2021 Iceland Travel Show was held virtually, which gave us the opportunity to assemble a line up of fantastic speakers from both Toronto and Iceland to provide some wonderful insight of what to do and what not to do in your travel to Iceland and the Faroe Islands.

Thinking about where to travel after the pandemic is over, and considering Iceland? Join us for information, stories and pics on trips to Iceland. This year’s show will be a virtual event using Zoom. Featured speakers include: Alda Sigmundsdóttir, Author of The Little Book of Tourists in Iceland; Kent Lárus Björnsson, The ICCT’s favourite “go-to” tour leader in Iceland; Jack and Carol Dodds, long-time ICCT members sharing their experience touring the Faroe Islands; Karen Wallington and Einar Jóhannesson, sharing experiences travelling to Iceland during the pandemic; and Bettyjane Wylie sharing her review of Far Afield a recent novel set in the Faroe Islands. This On-Demand recording is just under 2 hours long, and includes the five presentations and a recording of the discussion and question & answer sessions between our live online audience and the panelists. The Iceland Travel Show by the Icelandic Canadian Club is presented for free, but we do have costs in putting on this and other programs. If you care to make a small donation to the Iceland Travel Show, this would be very much appreciated. Donate here: www.icct.info
