Viking Halfred Visits Toronto

Did you attend Thorrablot last April? If so, you may remember Viking Halfred from L’Anse Aux Meadows, Newfoundland.
Halfred (aka Fred Sheppard), Public Outreach Education Officer for Parks Canada was in town for the Interpretation Canada conference held at the Botanical Gardens in Burlington this week. Fred was one of the key note speakers and he also accepted an award on behalf of Parks Canada for best movie: L’Anse Aux Meadows National Historic Site, Completing the Circle.
