ICCT Member Shares Artistic Audio with Authentic Sounds in N.E. Iceland

We received this lovely email today from ICCT member Tosca Terán.

It reads:

Just thought I’d share with the group!

March/April 2013 I was fortunate enough to visit Iceland, and stay with one of Iceland’s well loved glass artists, Sigrun Olof Einarsdottir
Such incredible beauty, I was hugely inspired!

The audio I am sharing was inspired, and some sound bites recorded, while visiting the North East. In particular Mývatn, Langanes, and Seyðisfjörður.

I was the recipient of the Glass Art Association of Canada’s 2013 Project Grant award, and am currently working on an immersive environment, “The Air We Breathe” based off
my experiences in Iceland.
