This year we return to our ‘new’ venue, the centrally-located Royal Canadian Legion (Br. 344) on Lake Shore Dr. W. We got lots of great feedback after last year’s event about this smaller cozier venue with its amazing lakeside patio.
As always we are looking for volunteers to help us with the planning and event-day activities. If you wish to do some baking for our Icelandic dessert menu, reach out to us soon at thorrablot@icct.info. And finally, a centerpiece for our event is the silent auction, and donations are gratefully welcome! We’re looking for a wide range of items, including artwork, housewares, jewelry, Icelandic-themed books, collectibles and any item that is Icelandic.
