Nordic Nights “Beowulf & Grendel”

Nordic Nights’ third screening this session will be on November 24th and will once again be screened on-line through Zoom.
Nordic Nights is the popular movie screening program run jointly by the ICCT, the Consulate of Finland and the School of Image Arts at Ryerson University. Typically there are six screenings held at Ryerson on the last Tuesday of September, October, November, January, February and March.
This year’s Nordic Nights series continues with the Canadian/Icelandic film “Beowulf & Grendel”, the 2005 film by ICCT member Sturla Gunnarsson.
The film will be streamed at an on-line event starting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday November 24th.
The evening will include a Ryerson student Icelandic workshop short film (from the archive), the movie screening, a live discussion following the movie with a Q&A with the director.
