October 5, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Nordic Nights’ first screening of the 2021-22 session will be on September 28th, 2021 and will once again be screened on-line through Zoom.

Nordic Nights is the popular movie screening program run jointly by the ICCT, the Consulate of Finland and the School of Image Arts at Ryerson University. Typically there are six screenings held at Ryerson on the last Tuesday of September, October, November, January, February and March. All screenings are currently held on-line due to continued pandemic restrictions at Ryerson.

This year’s Nordic Nights series is pleased to present Agnes Joy (2019) an Icelandic film by Silja Hauksdóttir.

The film will be streamed at an on-line event starting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 28th.

The evening will include a Ryerson student Icelandic workshop short film (from the archive), the movie screening, and a live discussion following the movie.
