DESCRIPTION:Fall classes will be from September 28 – November 23\, 2015 (no class for Thanksgiving – Oct 12). \n  \nMondays (Please arrive 5-10 minutes early) \nClasses will be taught by Þórdís. Beginner class will be from 6:30 pm to 8 pm and Intermediate will be from 8:15 pm to 9:45 pm\, with Coffee Break between the classes. (If you can’t attend classes on Mondays\, Þórdís is offering tutoring. If you are interested in tutoring\, please contact her directly. Þórdís – thordiseyvor@gmail.com). \nText: No cost for a book. We use a wonderful online resource. Info only provided on registration\, payment and attendance at first class. \nLocation: Morningside-High Park Church 4 MORNINGSIDE AVE Toronto\, Ontario (map) M6S 1C2 \nArrive by TTC: Runnymede subway station. Walk south on Kennedy Avenue. Building is to your left before Morningside Ave. \nArrive by Car: Street parking on Kennedy Ave. or Ellis Ave. \nEach class includes a 15 min coffee/tea break. DESCRIPTION:NORDIC NIGHTS RETURNS TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 29TH AT 6.30 PM\n\n´COLD FEVER´ (Á KÖLDUM KLAKA) is our first Icelandic film this season.\n\nDirector is Friðrik Þór Friðriksson\, previous Oscar nominee for ´Children of Nature´\nThis film\, in English\, features a Japanese businessman who reluctantly visits Iceland to perform a ceremony in honour of his parents\, who died in a remote part of the country… it turns into quite a road trip!\nRoom IMA307\, 3rd floor.\nRyerson University\, 122 Bond St.\nPresented by ICCT. Ryerson School of Image Arts and the Donald K. Johnson Icelandic Film Series of Icelandic National League of North America.\nDoors open 6\, movie at 6.30. preceded by a Ryerson student film from their workshop in Iceland.\nFREE\, but donations gratefully received.
