Thorrablot 2013
Please consider making a donation toward the Silent Auction to be held at our Thorroblot celebrations on April 14th. All proceeds go toward a scholarship for secondary education, grants to participants in the Snorri Youth program traveling to Iceland, and to children attending Icelandic Camp in Manitoba.
Some ideas for auction items that you may not have considered are; teaching a computer skill, art or a craft, tickets to the Ballet, theatre or a sports event, original art or craft items, a hay ride, weekend at a cottage, home-made cookies or cakes made to order for a special occasion or a service, like home repair or tree pruning.
We also welcome smaller items that can be included in a theme basket. Some theme baskets we are hoping to put together are, Gardening, Coffee Time, Family Movie Night, Spa, Car Care, Knitting or Crafts. Be as creative as you please in support of this charitable event.
