Toronto debut and exclusive limited capacity event by this cosmic & crafty Father/Son duo from Reykjavík – which will also include special backing visuals from the creative mind of Markus Heckmann aka wuestenarchitekten…along for the journey is fellow countryman Aðalsteinn Jörundsson aka AMFJ with an ambient set specifically created just for this evening.

There’s clearly some genetic magic at work in the Thorarensen family of Iceland. Father Oskar was a founding member of the Art Brut collective Inferno 5 in the mid-eighties, while son Pan has five solo albums under his belt as Beatmakin’ Troopa. Together, they helped found Iceland’s Extreme Chill Festival and have been active in promoting the country’s electronic music scene. Since 2007, they have combined their musical skills as Stereo Hypnosis, creating the chilliest of ambient dub sounds. To date, they have remained a well-kept European secret, touring the continent extensively, but appearing only twice in North America.
